An example of how gays are ruining our modern society.
Look how fiendishly immoral they are.
Look how happy and family oriented they are, ugh. It makes me sick.
Someone call FOX News, we finally have proof.
HOW CORRUPT!
Jesus Christ, gay people are constantly ruining my life.
I died from cute!!! I love the comments on this, too. Neil Patrick Harris, you make my life a little brighter.

Does anyone know who this is? Because everything about this photo makes me melt - his tattoos, pose, expression, wardrobe, facial hair & physique. Seriously, can he just come over my house so I can swoon. I am fairly certain Alexis would be all for it.

Bon Iver surprised me with a scavenger hunt. His cryptic riddles and clues written in India ink lead me all over our property. In the crumbling granary, where he stepped on a nail last summer, a note is tucked in the rusted fuselage of a wheelbarrow that has in recent years been repurposed as the home and nursery of a family of rural pigeons. Beneath our bedroom window, ants exploring the redolent peonies have discovered his folded paper message as well.
One note, wrapped around the wire of a fence in the northern pasture, is decorated with a drawing of an ovenbird, a creature that he has always likened to me for the loud song that erupts from its miniature form.
The final note asks me to return to the house. There is no great climactic finish to this adventure, but he has taken the time since I left to remake the bed with clean sheets, to tidy the kitchen, and to prepare me a cup of tea.
I really can’t stop reading these. They are so beautifully written. The greatest thing about them is that I am pretty sure I know some people that would do these sorts of things for their loves. I am extremely grateful for the beautiful people I have in my life & oddly enough this tumblr reminds me of that constantly.

Here’s a pair of our spooky friends on their way to a new home today. These are the Onetribe sugar skulls carved in mother of pearl as inlays, hardware set in brass into ebony Mayan flared plugs. I love these.
you thought I didn’t really notice. But I did. I wanted to high-five you.
Yesterday I had a pair of brothers in my store. One was maybe between 15-17. He was a wrestler at the local high school. Kind of tall, stocky and handsome. He had a younger brother, who was maybe about 10-12 years old. Thy were talking about finding a game for the younger one, and he was absolutely insisting it be one with a female charcter. I don’t know how many of y’all play games, but that isn’t exactly easy. Eventually, I helped the brothers pick a game called Mirror’s Edge. The youngest was pretty excited about the game, and then he specifically asked me.. “Do you have any girl color controllers?”I directed him to the only colored controllers we have which includes pink and purple ones. He grabbed the purple one, and informed me purple was his FAVORITE.
The boys had been taking awhile, so their father eventually comes in. He see’s the game, and the controller, and starts in on the youngest about how he needs to pick something different. Something more manly. Something with guns and fighting, and certainly not a purple controller. He tries to convince him to get the new Zombie game “Dead Island.” and the little boy just stands their repeating “Dad, this is what I want, ok?” Eventually it turns into a full blown argument complete with Dad threatening to whoop his son if he doesn’t choose different items.
That’s when big brother stepped in. He said to his Dad “It’s my money, it’s my gift to him, if it’s what he wants I’m getting it for him, and if your gonna hit anyone for it, it’s going to be me.”
Dad just gives his oldest son a strong stern stare down, and then leaves the store. Little brother is crying quietly, I walk over and ruffle his hair (yes this happened all in front of me.) I say “I’m a girl, and I like the color blue, and I like shooting games. There’s nothing wrong with what you like. Even if it’s different that what people think you should.”
Big brother then leans down, kisses little brother on the head, and says “Don’t worry dude.”
They check out and leave, and all I can think is how awesome big brother is, how sweet little brother is, and how Dad ought to be ashamed for trying to make his son any other way.
This made me cry. Its absolutely touching.

Ten years ago my son was born weighing just 1 pound 6 ounces. He fit from the top of his head to his rump perfectly in my hand. I know this because the day he was born I was his nurse who admitted him into the NICU where I work. For better or for worse, his bio parents walked away after he was born fearing that because of his extreme premature birth he would be damaged. Two days later I realized that I had fallen in love with my patient. Two weeks later my husband declared that he too was in love with this baby boy. Two months later we held him in our arms for the first time named by the court as his foster/adoptive parents. He weighed just 2 pounds then. Two weeks after his 1st birthday the adoption was final and he completed our family circus. To celebrate I had my very first tattoo, an exact replica of his inch long footprints taken at birth to represent the saying “Not flesh of my flesh, Not bone of my bone/But still, miraculously, my own./And never forget for a minute/You weren’t born under my heart, but in it.”
